Today was the last day of my restaurant service in school for this term. Served a bunch of VIPs. Glad everything went smoothly, no spillage whatsoever. LOL. And... Holiday's coming! Can't wait.



After school, rushed home and got ready. Meeting Fernando(unique name yea?) today. Met him at Shawhouse. Orchard was alive with christmas lights and decorations. There was also an amateur band performing christmas jiggles outside Tangs, adding to the festive mood!



We decided to watch Quarantine. The movie is spine chilling I tell ya! It's SCARY. Okay, maybe only to me but, the suspense will keep at the edge of your seat(metaphorically speaking though, I was lying back comfortably on my seat. haha)! A little gruesome as well. For scariness, I'll rate it like 4 out of 5!



There's a similar movie called Rec. Heard that was bad though. Quarantine reminds me a lot about Cloverfield.



After movie, we went to Balcony to slack. Order some cakes and drinks. The staff of Balcony was really funny. I wanted to take a picture of what we ordered but my flash was too bright, and no flash = a black picture. So she went to take a touch light for me and even told me which angle would be good and all. LOL.

And the thing is.. I whispered to Fernando about how ah lian-ish she walked when showing us to the table. Well, can't judge someone by the exterior aye.

Today I met up with Daniel. Didn't go school today as I woke up late. We went to Causeway Point to catch Madagascar. The cinema were filled with school kids. Daniel and myself were worried they'll make lots of noise but they were good. LOL.



The movie is funny. I like to move it move it~!

Nothing much to blog about lately. It has been the same old routine of waking up early for school, studying then making my 1 n a half hr journey back home.

I didn't skip school at all this week though! So proud of myself. LOL.

THE DAY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS IS FINALLY HERE!

RIHANNA'S CONCERT!!

Stephen, Deidrea, Ruiqi & myself met up and headed down to the Indoor Stadium. We were filled with excitement!

Deidrea and myself couldn't maintain in the cab!

Deidrea and Ruiqi were sitting different seats from Stephen and Me, so we seperated. When, Stephen and me were finding our seats, an usher told us there has been changes to the seating plan and..

our seats became from row 23 to row 3 of my section!! We got the $220 seats for only paying $150! WOO!

Waiting and waiting and suddenly the lights when off and...

The intro was super cool! She came down from the ceiling. However, for the first song, Disturbia, the microphone didn't work! You could see Rihanna's getting pissed off. HAHA.

She ran off stage and changed mic. By the 2nd song, everything was fine. The crowd was still on high spirits!

Her concert production was good! She was coming down from the ceiling, elevating off the stage and even had a pop-up toaster where she will pop up now and then. LOL.

Before we know it, the concert was over! =(. So fast! We 4 met up after that. While outside the stadium, we heard screams. We ran towards the screams and it was Rihanna leaving the vanue! There was a part where I ran and the car passed me by! So close! I couldn't see her though, the glass was tinted.

Certainly a night to remember!

Went to catch a movie with Steve, Taufik and Deidrea yesterday.



Watched The Coffin though it's the second time for Deidrea and Taufik. The movie was alright. Not as good as I expected. Like a typical story about wondering ghosts and solving the mystery of all the paranormal happenings. However, the movie really nasty. It will show such peaceful scenes and suddenly shock you off guard. I even got a shock when a man cut the coconut!



We were talking about a haunted house near Cineleisure before the movie. Somehow, we decided to visit it after watching the horror film! We're crazy, aren't we? We stood outside deciding whether or not to go in.

After much thought, we went in, all locking arms and trying hard not to freak out. Thankfully, nothing happened. The house looks scary. We didn't dare go in, only 'admiring' it from afar.



ANYWAY! While walking around Cineleisure. We spotted an actor! IT'S...

Okay, he tried to disguise himself by wearing a hat and that yellow-ish glass geek specs but fail. I still recognized him. Haha. We chased him down like crazy fans to ask for a picture. And what's more, I don't even like watch his shows or care about him but somehow, I was a little starstruck. A little..

He's really polite and friendly though.

Monday Outing

Hey!

Last monday, my school lessons were cancelled. So, I decided to meet up with Daniel.



I was super early! We plan to meet at 4. I reached at 3.30 I think at Bugis(where we planned to meet). So, I went to Haji Lane to return my Halloween costume first. It was so awkward to carry this humongous plastic bag with wings sticking out. People kept looking!



We decided to catch Blindness. I saw the trailer and it looked interesting. How WRONG I was! It's the most boring movie ever! I'll rate it like only 1 star or maybe even lesser, half star?!



After that, we walked aimlessly around orchard. Bought a sweater and 2 pairs of shoes! Only $10 per pair. And it's sold at converse! The brand is not converse though. But still, $10 is cheap.

Deidrea's Birthday BBQ

Hello People!

Halloween's over. But the very next day was Deidrea's birthday bbq celebration!

HAHA. Alright, I know its days ago but I wanna wish her again can?



Well, the bbq was super last minute. We actually got the food, plates, forks and other bbq-essentials like 1 hr before! Deidrea and myself didn't know what to buy and ended up overloading the trolley with many unneccesary things. LOL. Thank goodness bbq-pros like Gloria came to the rescue!



We set up everything. Once again, being noobs of bbq-ing, we didn't know how to bbq! Luckily, Wilson got the ball rolling and set up the charcoal, firestarter and whatever else for us. Haa!



He helped us bbq the food as well. The food was FANTASTIC. Thinking of it is making me hungry at this very moment.



He bought for dd a bottle of sparkling wine. It was hilarious when Deidrea tried to pop it open herself. She kept shaking the bottle out of nervousness for some reason. LOL.

The bbq brought the reunion of E-DAIJ. Okay, that's what we call ourselves, 4 best friends, which are Deidrea, Junhao, Irys and myself. You know, in secondary school, we like to give a name to title our group of friends. I had like more than 5. LOL.

The rest were keeping a secret to Deidrea. We actually bought for her a cake. But I accidentally, unintentionally, not purposely blurted it out!! How? The moment was like..

Junhao: "want to just open the presents now?"

Me: "don't want lah! Cut the Ca.. Ca.."(and i realised)

Deidrea: *looking at me with a suspicious but surprised expression*

Just like that and it's chai chuan-ed! Well, at least she was surprised when I exposed the moment. LOL.



Most of Deidrea's friends turned up. She must have been very touched. Haha.



Alice taught us a super fun game that night that consists of bottles and bottles of water. Wanna play again soon!

Hey ya'll!

Had a blast last Friday at the Halloween party! The day before, I was deciding what I wanted to be. Heavenly Angel and Ancient Egyptian was on my top list. I couldn't decide to be which, so what did I do? I combined both themes together. HAHA!

I present to you... me as An Egyptian Angel.



LOL. I know my outfit doesn't exist, but the combination is kinda matching don't ya think? HAHA. And, no one will be exactly the same as me!



I was initially intending to wear a white t-shirt with the outfit. But it ruined and didn't match the costume. So after much persuasion and thought, I decided to just be brave and go topless. HAHA.

We met James and Hafiz at the club. James was a Pastor while Hafiz was a Mime cum Clown cum Toyboy. LOL.



The club was nicely decorated. I was pleased and relieved to find that many fellow clubbers dressed up as well. I was worried that my group would be the only crazy ones dressing up. LOL.



Don't mess with me, I'll cast my Egyptian curse on you. HAHA. Ok maintain.



It was interesting to see the different types of costumes. Some were really extravagant and over the top. Haa!



I spotted a fellow egyptian in the club! Haha. OK. I know his body is much fitter than my petite frame okay.



Junhao did all our make ups and that Egyptian inspired tattoo on my arm.
